PRODUCTION POSITIONS
Custom
Wood Assembler
The
Custom Wood Assembler is responsible for prepping and assembling
side-lites, transoms, arched units, patio units, casements, sash,
doors, wood windows and other custom work with safety, quality,
and efficiency in mind. One year of experience in a manufacturing
environment required, carpentry or finish carpentry experience preferred.
Must demonstrate skill in general manufacturing procedures and equipment,
including hand tools, air drills and other basic shop equipment.
Experience with radius, lay-up, stile, rail door and sash lay-up
preferred. Ability to lift 50 to 150 lbs.
ADMINISTRATIVE
POSITIONS
Commercial
Estimator
The
Commercial Estimator performs pricing and estimating, maintains
files, reads blueprints and creates material take-off lists for
windows, exterior and interior doors, door hardware, interior millwork,
and bath accessories. Requirements: 2 years estimating, preferably
in residential or commercial hardware/door estimating. Must have
excellent communication skills, math & computer skills, accuracy
& attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, ability to
work within deadlines on quoting and pricing, knowledge of state
and local building codes.
SALES
POSITIONS
Residential
Sales Representatives
Full-time
positions available for front counter, telephone, and/or outside
sales for all Mid-Valley Glass & Millwork products and services.
Sells windows, doors, millwork, hardware, shower doors, etc., to
homeowners and contractors. Preferred experience: sale of building
materials; reading blueprints; writing takeoffs. Must demonstrate
skill in general office procedures and equipment, including 10-key
& personal computer. Must have excellent customer service skills,
strong math skills, and excellent verbal and written communication
skills.
